2 Sky boxes to MCE???

Does anyone know what I would need to do to add a 2nd Sky box to my Artisan? I have an LX model with twin analogue tuners and I want to connect my Grundig digibox via S-video – no problem. However, if I bought a 2nd box and wanted to connect that, how would I do it, as there is only one S-video input? There is provision to do this in the MCE set up menu (S-video 1, S-video 2). Would I need to ‘daisy chain’ the digiboxes? There is something that resembles a mini DIN socket on the Artisan, just above the DVI out, but I don’t think that has anything to do with it?

Anyone done this or have any ideas? Thanks.

I haven't seen an Artisan but if it has the Hauppauge WinTV PVR500 then you need an additional connector plate for the second s-video & audio inputs. Originally this was an optional extra & difficult to find but I have an idea that now all PVR500s ship with this plate. As yours is a pre-built system that won't be much help I am afraid. Why don't you contact Elonex & ask them how you can hook up a second Set Top Box?

You cannot 'daisy-chain' two boxes you need to duplicate the connections & IR bug for the second box just like for your first box.
