Monthly Photo Competition
RULES
1: Pictures entered must be taken by the person entering.
2: The following information must be included in the same post as the entry. Camera used, Shutter Speed, Apeture, ISO and focal length also exif must be left embedded in the image or else the photo will be disallowed. PLEASE NOTE, IF ANYONE IS UNSURE HOW TO PRESERVE EXIF AND FOR ANYONE USING SOFTWARE THAT STRIPS EXIF THEN AS LONG AS THE ORIGINAL PICTURE CAN BE EMAILED TO avfphotocomp@googlemail.com THEN THE PICTURE WILL BE ALLOWED.
3: Photos must be a maximum of 1280 pixels against the longest side including any border. This rule must be adhered to or else the photo will be disallowed.
4: Attached files must be under 240KB, embedded files must not exceed 300KB.This rule must be adhered to or else the photo will be disallowed.
5: Details of any post processing must be included in the same post as the entry.
6: Only one entry per member.
7: No archive shots allowed, for any given monthly competition all photos must have been taken within the specified time period, from the time the opening launch and discussion thread is posted, until the stipulated time it is due to end. This rule must be adhered to or else the photo will be disallowed.
8: Once posted, the entry is final. No change of entry will be allowed.
9: No 'adult' themed photos will be accepted.
10: If you enter, you must vote. Not voting will result in your entry being withdrawn. You are not allowed to vote for your own entry.
11: Any judgement on interpreation of the above rules will be made by stevegreen and/or Zone.
12: Any moderator decision in respect of the competition and entries will be final.
