Embarrassing Freeview/VCR question!

OK, I'm no expert on all things Audio Visual (as you'll be able to tell from this post!) and as a result need some basic info/help please

Thing is I 've just got myself a nice 26" LCD, inc a built in Freeview receiver. The TV is great and the Freeview reception is fantastic. However, my VCR (which is about 5 years old) can't manage to find the Freeview signal therefore I'm unable able to record anything from Freeview

I've tried tuning in the VCR manually and by the auto method but it just can't locate the Freeview signal. Any ideas anyone?

Any help appreciated! Cheers.

Just guessing but I think you will need to connect a scart cable from the TV (out) into your VCR (in) and then select the AV in option on the VCR to be able to do this.
