New ? Ebay scam

Hi There,

Just found a Yamaha DSP-AZ9 on ebay for £300, too good to be true....Hmm...The add also says that the seller can not be contacted through ebay, putting the email address they have posted into a general search brings up two users both in the states, advatising loads of high end kit....Anyway sounds like a scam to me, so watch out....If its too good to be true, it usualy is !

never buy anything off ebay when they try to circumvent ebay....heh

mind you, i never buy anything off ebay anyhow...lol....

i rarely buy secondhand, and when i do i buy thru classifieds so i can go that night, have a look, make an offer and get it....heh

There's a lot of this goes on,especially with very high value items such as Krell and Levinson,but usually there are obvious giveaways...

Zero feedback
Lots of feedback from very low value items(cosmetics etc usually)
Wire transfer only
Items being sent from the Far East(esp Sumatra etc)
Poor wording etc.
