As the title says what type of voltage convertor am i going to need to power the player. Is a 240v to 110v Step-down Transformer (100W) good enough or do i need a 200 or 300w :lease:

100w is fine on my unit. Average used by the A1 is 47w with peak around 75w.

I am sure I read somewhere that although the rating plate doesn't say 240V the player is 100v~240v, 50 ~ 60 Hz.

The reason being that the USA regulations are such that they aren't allowed to quote off shore voltages.

Don't take my word for it. Do your own reseach.

Who's going to be the first brave soul to try 240V without using a step-down? :) Is it worth the risk for the sake of £15? Btw, I bought the same model as Ryan. :smashin:
