iPod -> Yaris

Hello! Thanks for reading.

I have a Toyota Yaris 2003 T-Spirit, with standard CD head unit.

I want to connect my iPod photo to the system - previously I used an iTrip, but I'd like a fixed connection.

I'm very confused about the options. I'd prefer not to buy a seperate head unit. I've read about plugging the device into the CD changer slot, but I have no idea which connectors I'd need to do this.

Any advice would be extremely appreciated.

Cheers

That looks right to me - I just bought the Connects2 box and lead, not the ipod converter.

So my options would be to buy the iPod converter as a package, or just the unit and get a headphone -> aux cable/ipod connector -> aux.

If I get a seperate iPod connector port -> aux, will it charge the pod too?

Re: iPod -> Yaris

I would recommend www.xcarlink.co.uk . They have a range of ipod and mp3 adpaters for a range of OEM Stereos. I fitted one to my 2005 Audi A4 and was very impressed with the result.
