Exclamation JVC 28D40 channel freezing

I have a JVC 28d40 television.

Picture is excelent as is the sound.

The problem i have is with the built in freeview system.
Every now and again the channel seems to stick when you try and change channel.
eg. watching BBC3 press channel down button no response, still on BBC3 , after a few more presses (30 seconds later) it seems to catch up with all the presses i tried. Skipping through lots of channels.

What i want to know is.
1. does anyone else have the same problem ?
2. What software version? ( i have V1.0)
3. is there any plans for an overair update?

Thanks in advance for any info / help

Andy

Mine does exactly the same thing and mine is version V1.3. I posted on this forum about it and also asked JVC about the possibility of any over the air updates but I got no reply.
If a firmware update is available, the set can be updated via the serial port on the back so I have been told.
