having just checked the region 3 on CD wow there's no listing for DTS on the upcoming release of underworld evolution. Does anybody know if any region is getting DTS on this release, or even better DTS -ES?

Also has it been confirmed whether or not an extended edition is in the pipeline?

No DTS apparently on R1 or R3. UK release is still unknown (but I doubt it).

I figure that it's Japanese R2 all the way - give me another DTS-ES soundtrack like the first and I'll be happy (even if the movie leaves a lot to be desired).

mind the r2 extended edition of the first movie doesnt mention DTS on the sleeve, but it's on the disc. so hopefully it will be on, but it's just not mentioned again

i loved the soundtrack for the first film, it was just amazing, all the growls and leaping and stuff just wooshing around and making my sub go grumble....heh...and that was my Quake...havnt watched it in a while, now i got a Strata 5 it might be worth putting it back in to see the extra impact...lol

looking forward to the new one.....strangely sometimes when R1 doesnt get DTS on a film, the UK R2 does...heh....fingers crossed anyhow...lol

I am undecided about this one. If the first film is anything to go by, we can expect numerous future versions of this. Do I really want to get caught buying three versions of the same film again? http://www.avfu59.dsl.pipex.com/smileys/dunno.gif

I meant I contacted play.com just after its release and they said it was just Dolby Digital 5.1. After a short while people started to report it had DTS.
