PVR Cards - newbie!

I am new to this game so a bit confused!

I was thinking of building an MCE to go with a TH42PHD8 panel using a dvi input.
Ever cost conscious ! I see you can get 3 Hauppage Win TV Nova oem for c.£100 giving you record two watch one DVB-T. However as TH42PHD8 panel is HD ready and DVI is digital input, does that mean that the Novas will receive a HD signal; if theyre ever put out on DVB-T.
My mate says Nebula cards are highly recommended and their PCi master card actually states HD compatability, however it costs £90 for one.
I know in life u get what you pay for but............

thanks for any ideas ...
does anyone else have MCE thru a TH42PHD8? ...whats it like?

I have personally used a Compro VideoMate DVB-T200 for MCE and it seems to be OK, check out http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...Thumbnails=yes , not sure about fitting three tuners though, you would need a lot of PCI slots in your PC and risk IRQ problems as TV tuners do tend to like having exclusive use to their own IRQ within a PC.
