Toshiba HD-A1 remote

Read a few threads over on AVS about the Tosh unit not respondng to remote commands. Just had this issue with my unit and it appears to be the remote rather than the unit. You need to press the key slowly otherwise it doesn't seem to make contact esp the circular arrow keys. The natural reaction is the unit isn't responding so you press the key again or faster.

Setup my Pronto and works on every press no problem !

I think i read on avs that it sometimes freezes the player by pressing the remote buttons to quickly, but dont qoute me on that.

As I say the unit response is great via the Pronto every time but the keys on the Tosh remote can take several presses before they generate a signal. Confirmed this using the learn function on the Pronto. Bin the Tosh remote it will drive you mad

Damn shame i went for the xa1, thats an expensive remote to throw away.
