Philips 32PW6526/05 tube problems - how to access service menu

Hello

I have a Philips 32PW6526/05 Widescreen TV which is 3 and a half years old. Recently (all of a sudden) the tube has an overall yellow tinge to it (whites appear yellowish and blues are very washed out).

I called out an engineer who informed me that the CRT was at fault and that it is quite a common problem with the Philips sets.

I contacted Philips to see if they could do anything (obviously it was out of warranty) but they were unable to help.

I am unable to afford a new TV at the moment so is there anything that I can do to improve the picture until a time when I can afford a new TV? I was wondering about altering the red/green/blue levels of the tube to get a slightly better picture until I get a new one. If this could be done then how do I access the service menu? The engineer that came accessed the service menu - but I forgot what he pressed! I do not mind any problems of messing up the display as it is awful already! I just wondered if I could improve it slightly.

Thanks for any help.
