Hi,

Just watched R2 of A Bittersweet Life last night, and wow, what a great
2 hrs of entertainment. If you like your ganster films then put this on your list asap with great fight scenes and gun fights which are superb.

With a great anti-hero, a man (enforcer) you should never cross, he will kick your ass. The plot is very simple, and there a a few questions like the amazing phone battery scene in the warehouse, how come none of the bad guys had any guns?.

But its the coolness of the movie handled by the director and the great lead that carries it. It could of been 20 mins shorter, every time i thought it was going to finish, it carried on. The dts will blow your speakers.

Korean Cinema at its best. I just wish i saw it earlier!.

Here is a link to Seths 2004 R3 review, but ONLY read the plot after your see the film!.

Watched this a couple of weeks ago. I got the R3 DTS-ES Dir Cut and yes, the film is superb!

Really enjoyed this and without doubt the best Korean film i've seen with an awesome soundtrack to boot!

I saw this film at my local arts centre/cinema. Very enjoyable. I thought it very stylish - fighting and subtle humour.
