I just noticed last night there was a stain on my sub grill cloth and a bit on the top. The stuff on the top seemed to be sticky, but was easily wiped away but how do you get stains of the grill cloth without damaging it?

Given you have had no other advice, you could try an upholstery cleaner, but I would worry that it might leave a tide mark. Does it come off? could you wash it/dry clean it?

Can the grilles be removed?
I personally would try and remove them and use a steam cleaner to get the stains out.

Steam cleaner is the way to go but be careful as some cloth types can melt easily.
The grilles just pop off of the front of the speakers.
Where can I get a steam cleaner?
Any other options available, a 30degree washing machine hold wash?

What a messy lot you are ;) Maybe we should send Kim and Aggie round
Vanish products are usually pretty good but I would deffinately remove the grills where possible before attempting the deed.
If all else fails you can always replace the cloth with new available from somewhere like here :-

Steam cleaners are available from plenty of places - just 'Google' it.
Here's (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290042640404) one of the cheapest that I found.
