Cambridge audio 640T tuner: display issue

Hello,

Have had the 640T for a couple of weeks now and have noticed that the display will go into 'lit standby mode' by itself throughout the day or overnight.

Frequently when I have switched the unit off into standby - with the display completely off - I will notice a while later that the display is lit, although the radio is still in standby mode.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any clue as to what is happening or how I can stop it doing this?

Thanks,

Paul.

Hi Paul,

I have the same noticing. I wrote to the CA Support and they replied to me immediately: It is a known software bug. They hope that they can fix it during next months and they will send the fix to the dealers.

Bye!

Hi,

I have tried a lot and I have a strong suspicion. When I tune on a RDS station every day at least once a half day, the phenomenon doesn't appear.
Please bring a notice to me if your observations is the same.

Bye,

Lajos
