The Last castle - R1 - another recommendation
Another recommended watch that's now doing the rounds. It may not be one for everyone to keep and watch more then once but a rewarding movie - with feel good factor..

Yep. I enjoyed it too.
Nice to see old Bobby Redford back on the screen.
He's a true movie star.

I too enjoyed this one, a great nights viewing. Another movie you
should check out is Donnie Darko, I watched it the other night
with some mates and we've been discussing it for days.

Mines on pre order. Or shouldn't I ask?

General, I have a friend who works in the film business and he
gets preview tapes/dvds of upcoming releases. Hope you like the
film.

I saw it in the cinema and thought it was a great fun way to spend an evening.......kinda reminds me of the A-team......the whole knocking together an arsenal from grass and stones i mean!!

the last castle
Hi,
Saw R2 last night of The Last Castle. Great movie, and really enjoyed the performances. James Goldalfini (not spelt right) was the standout character for me.
But dont watch the 'trailer', it gives too much away, it always seems to, when you just seen the movie, and then watch the trailer after.

Heh, I have to say this was an awful film, stereotypical american marine crap.
Cliches left, right and center, some people will like it but it was very boring and I went to bed as it sent me to sleep (which doesn't happen very often!).

SPOILER ALERT
Watched it recently on a rental DVD (R3) and must agree with raigraphixs - don't watch the trailer. As well I share the same opinion as Silverback, it was pretty close to other known prison movies.
Yet it was quite entertaining, nothing special - brains off and enjoy.
I will give it * * * 1/2 out of 5
SPOILER
because it didn't have a happy end!

I picked it up today in the Virgin Sale
I enjoyed it, thought it was quite good a tad sentimental perhaps.
