Will a HD DVD play in a NON HD DVD Player

Hi all, Will a HD DVD play in a NON HD DVD Player.
I have a Tosh 150E with component out and prog scan.

I believe they will be doing hybrid discs. These would have the HD movie & a standard DVD movie. Hopefully, your DVD player would be able to read the standard definition layer.

Nope, unless it has a normal DVD side/layer. But as a rule you'll need a new HDDVD player, when they come out.
