Thanks: Gave 67, Got 56
System Connections

I am at my wits end here....

My set up is a follows:
Panasonic Sky Box thru to DVD Recorder thru to LCD TV (all using stndard Scart cables - ie Not Gold, oxygen free, etc)

When I view Sky (which goes through the DVD) with DVD on Standby, the picture is crystal clear.

When I view Sky with DVD ON (not playing DVD but on an AV chan), the picture is somewhat grainy with interferance.

Likewise, if I watch a DVD, the picture is grainy with interferance (sub-VHS standard!)

Strange thing is that this has only started happening today - yesterday all pictures were crystal.

Furthermore, replacing the DVD Recorder with a cheap player, the picture is crystal clear.

Plugging DVD Recorder into a 14" TV, picture crystal.

It just doesn't add up - any suggestions?
Thanks
