monsters inc jap version - rolling pic

Hi folks,

I bought monsters inc jap region 2 from someone on the forums and only got around to playing it over the weekend.. in various scenes the picture rolls vertically... the disc is in mint condition so i was wondering if anyone came across anything like this before with a dvd? my setup is ok with other jap/ntsc material...

I have seen this on my brother's DVD player with NTSC disks. Try setting the video output mode to the "PAL60" option, if its available. That fixed it for him (this will play both POAL and NTSC, so no need to keep switching back and forth).
