Hi Guys,

I have a Sipgate account with a free local UK number. I am thinking of getting a new contract mobile phone with 500 free minutes every month to other mobiles and UK landlines. Could anyone tell me if it would be possible to call my Sipgate number from the mobile using the free minutes? (ie: Is the Sipgate number classed as a UK landline number?)

This is important to me since it will be the deciding factor on whether I get the mobile contract or not, so any help on this is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Tim

Hi,

Yes, you can call to UK sipgate numbers (e.g. numbers starting 01 or 02) from your mobile's free minutes allowance. Sipgate numbers are classified as normal landline numbers.

I have used them for nearly a year now.

Hope that helps!
SV
