Streaming desktop to websever

HI all,

Question which i hope some one can help me with

Is there a program that i can run which will allow me to stream my desktop or current running window/program to a webserver in realtime. I want to then be able allow others to view this image on there own pc (across a wireles local network) by typing in the ip address of the server in there web browser. They will then see the realtime image from my PC on there screen via web browser. It has to update continualy in realtime (basically stream) the image exactly as it is on my machine.

If your curiose as to what i'm trying to achieve, i run race control for model car racing. I have a race timing program running on my laptop which shows competitor information, split times, leaders etc etc. I want to be able to push this information to other competitors so that they can see what is happening in other heats via a wireless lan connection on there own machines. It would also be cool if it could be accessed from PDA's with wireless connections as these are more portable at racemeetings than laptops.

I know what i want to achieve could be done via VNC etc but i dont want the hassle of having to set up client server information. I just want the info to be streamed straight to a web based server which can be accessed by anyone via a web browser without a need to log in etc etc.

Does anyone know if this can be done easily or where to start??
