MCE not recognising signal with Pinnacle 200e tuner

I have a Pinnacle 200e external Freeview USB tuner and MCE 2005 on a desktop PC. I live in West London and have good Freeview reception according to my Hauppauge digibox and the Pinnacle software that comes with the 200e. The Pinnacle software works fine on my laptop and all channels can be watched. It is listed by Microsoft and Pinnacle as approved for use with MCE 2005.

If I plug the Pinnacle 200e into my MCE desktop PC, MCE recognises the unit, will scan for channels but not pick them all up. If I try and watch one of the channels it does detect MCE tells me that the signal is not good enough. I am using the same aerial lead and USB lead as with the laptop and have the Pinnacle supplied interference filters on the USB lead.

If I use the Pinnacle software on the MCE desktop PC it works fine through the Pinnacle software.

Any ideas how I can get MCE to be able to watch all Freeview channels?
