How do I get rid of all my music albums?

Hello all, I have just spent a couple of hours renaming many albums...

Now I have deleted all the old albums from my Media PC, but they still appear in the My Music part of MCE, so I have to manually delete each one, but it is taking an age, as there are hundreds!

So, is there a way to delete them all in one go?

I have tried the Tweak utility thingy, but it just keeps crashing my system, so that is something else to remove!

Any help greatly appreciated...

Lee

perhaps it would be quicker to delete everything (from the library, not the computer) and then rescan for music.

Delete all your music files from within Windows Media Player but be careful not to remove them completely from your PC.

Go into windows media player and then tools - options - library tab and make sure the "delete files from computer" box is unticked. Then, still in media player, click on all music on the left hand side and select all of it on the right hand side and hit delete. Then press F3 to rescan for music. MCE will update itself soon enough as it's jist a frontend for WMP.
