Samsung SP50L6HX - lost teletext.

My Samsung SP50L6HX seems to be having trouble with Teletext on BBC2.
Most of the time there is nothing there and a screen message says "No Text Transmission". Sometimes Text is available but it's garbage with lots of missing lines. This only affects BBC2.

Other channels are OK and all Teletext is normal on three other TV's in the house.

Any ideas. Not as if I can pop it down to my friendly repair man !

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks for your response.
I had wondered about that but the fact that the three other TVs in the house are OK made me suspect the Samsung was perhaps defective in that department. Bearing in mind also that the teletext on the other three Samsung channels are perfect. (BBC1, ITV, Chan4).

Today I pulled the Samsungs aerial lead out and put it into a Goodman 20” CRT. That was perfect on all four channels so I think that at least rules out the aerial lead.

Nevertheless, you are probably right in suggesting that it is a signal problem. Perhaps the Samsung is a little less forgiving and needs a strong signal input.
