Freeview Aerial

Hi,

I had a freeview aerial installed in my last house. When the chaps arrived to do it they decided it was best to put the aerial in the loft and charge me £125 for the pleasure. Credit to them though, thie picture was ace.

I have now moved and took the aerial with me. I would like to install it on the side of the house but how do I know if the aerial is suitable for outdoor use?

Thanks

Has it got a make name or model number stamped on it somewhere (possibly on the plastic connection box but could be on the boom) ?
Otherwise, could you make contact with the original installers at your old home and ask them ?
