Too much on TV for me to keep up with
I have to work like most people and fit in all that day to day trivia such as eating, shopping and going to poo etc. oh and there's a family somewhere in that equation.
Well there's simply too much on the TV at the moment for me to keep up with. Here's a breakdown of my weeks viewing:
Monday:
University Challenge
Life On mars
ER
Tuesday:
Holby City
CSI
Wednesday:
The Bill
Over There
Thursday:
The Bill
House
Boston Legal
Friday:
Bones
Cold Case
Saturday:
Casualty
Sea Of Souls
CSI NewYork
Sunday:
Close To Home
24
My poor little TiVo never gets a break. God knows what will happen when Sky roll out there new EPG.
Anyway, anyone else have this problem.

Tell me about it, I'm playing catch up with a lot of the tv series. I normally don't watch much tv but love Lost; 24 etc. Anyway, I've finished watching S2 of 24 so 2 seasons to go there.
I've got all of S2 to catch up with so far on Lost.
S1 of Battlestar Gallactica and S2 so far
S1 of Desperate Housewives and S2 so far.
All of Invasion so far.
All of Prison Break so far.
I've got all these programs with me waiting to be watched but just don't have the time!

I'm surprised that a man of your impeccable taste is still watching The Bill as I think that it lost the plot a year or so back when someone in his infinite wisdom decided that it needed spicing up and either booted out all the old faithfuls replacing them with a fresh lot or changed all their characters around.

I watch The Bill and Casualty/Holby mainly co's these are programs that we can sit and watch as a family. My son being 14. I do appreciate that they have somewhat lost there edge and have gone from drama's to nearly soaps.
I also wish I was watching more British products. Silent Witness, Waking The Dead and 55 Degrees North are popular in our household.

I know exactly how you feel !
This last weekend I finally finished watching season 1 of Boston Legal...I still have all the current season 2 episodes to watch. I have six episodes of Battlestar season 1 to watch before I can start on season 2...about four episodes each of the current seasons of SG-1 and Atlantis. Almost all the current seasons episodes of The West Wing as well as two episodes of My Name is Earl....and now 24 season 5 is about to start
I am in a constant battle with my hard drive to try and clear stuff before something else is recorded just to free up some much needed space.

funnily enough I've only just got round to watching 'Friends and Crocodiles', as my usual suspects come first.
However I do find that I have to be reasonably critical as to what I really want to see now,and anything that looks below my expectations I have to give a miss on.
So it's quality first ,closely followed by those guilty pleasures

You guys make it sound like a job
Mondays:
Desperate House Wives, The Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, Child of Our Time, Invasion
Tuesdays:
24, The Planets Revisited
Wednesdays:
The Shield, Shameless
Thursdays:
Lost, Hyperdrive, The House of Chanel, Tittybangbang
Friday:
Smallville, Hotel Babylon, Counter Culture
Saturday:
Judge John Deed (I normally play on my DS when this is on), The Cinema Show, Timewatch
Sunday:
Child of our Time, TNA Impact, The House of Chanel
On top of that I try to fit in a couple of films and what ever season is on BBC4. Then there is the family viewing, programs like Johnny and the Bomb, Dr Who, Blue Peter, I guess it is a full time job.
Smallville has been awful recently, its like the bad old days with the comic were there would be a sensationalist cover such as Superman killing Lois Lane and then the entire comic with a convoluted storyline justifying a single cell that matched the cover. I'm hanging with it as I know the split between Clark and Lex is just around the corner.
