kef tdm23f queston

hi
i am about to wall mount these speakers
in the HCC review it says there is a removable slug under the + terminal
my question is this which way round for wall mounting ?

For wall placement it should set with the 'flat' side of the slug facing you as you screw it in.
For placement in free space (i.e. on a stand) you should have the 'hollow' side of the slug facing you as you screw it in.

If you have the TDM34DS dipole surrounds aswell, be careful because on these speakers the slug operates the other way around, i.e. 'hollow' side facing you for wall placement.

That is right. Please note for front speakers when 'hollow side' facing you will increase the bass.

i have just been checking my tdm 34ds's and the slug is in the - terminal
is this the norm ?

I can't remember without dismantling them... but it will be clear from looking inside the terminal.
If you look inside the terminal into which the slug screws in, you'll see it has a centre pin around which the slug sits in the 'hollow' position.
