Having only last week installed Nav 5 on my HP iPAQ and having never seen any other GPS Mapping software I wonder if some of you using other GPS mapping software could take a look and see if some streets in my locality are present. :lease:
Now these addresses/houses have been up for the last 35yrs and I don't know why they are not in Nav5.
Country...UK
Town...Strathaven
County...Lanarkshire
Streets...Linden Walk, Rowan Walk, Woodside Walk.
Postcode ML10 6HL
These 3 rows of houses are served by 2 lanes for rear/garage access and they both run between Hazelwood Road and Kirkhill Road.
If anyone has any theories as to why they are not included I'd be interested to hear.
I suspect I am not alone and there will be other addresses in various towns/Cities not included.
Thanks.

I have just bought Tom Tom One (version 5.410) and confirm that your addresses are missing from this version of software. The postcode given comes up with "unnamed road".
Like you I suspect that there will be more areas that do not have full coverage. I wonder what source (and how old) Tom Tom applications people use for their map coverage data.

Thanks for that.
TomTom on their website state they get all thir map info from "Tele Atlas"
If anyone else has a different GPS with different maps (not TomTom) I'd be interested to hear if the addresses I gave are listed. :lease:

I'll try my Navman tonight.
Thanks, I'd appreciate it.
Ok, none of the streets appear listed on the data base and a 'very' quick search of the map area surrounding the two roads you mention didn't show the search target either.

Thanks Lynx,
Just found out both TomTom and Navman both get their maps from Tele Atlas so that explains why the streets are missing in these two.
Can anyone try CoPilot or any other GPS software for me? :lease:

Tried to find the streets in my CoPilot V5 and they are not present. CoPilot uses NavTeq maps.
