View Full Version : Where the Hell can i buy the Rotel RMB 1075?
I've looked everywhere for this amp, and i can find only 3 companies who stock the amp, and trying to get any of them to ship to Ireland...is a bloody nightmare....can anybody recommend anywhere??
Or if i can't find a company anywhere, then i'm proberly going to wait until i go to the Bristol show and see if i can pick up one there!

He´s not in until Monday. They used to stock Rotels a while back. But I´m not 100% if they still do, worth a call though.

if they supply you
superfi will not ship to an address outside the UK, if paying by credit card.
You have to pay by UK cheque, from a UK bank account and have it shipped to your home address....absolutely useless to me that is.
Hifi-bitz will probs do it, they are £150 more expensive, at £750...i think i'm gonna wait until the show, may get a good deal....

Try Lyric Hi-fi, they have both Dublin and Belfast branches. The Belfast branch definitely stocks Rotel and should have no problem shipping stuff down to Dublin.
Buy Your Av will ship all Rotel products to Ireland, Give them a call 0870 701 004. (Buyyourav.com)
Can i ask which processor you were intending on using with the Rotel?
Didn't get chance to go shopping today, terrible weather!!
But tried buy your av, and they don't stock the 1075...
processor i was going to use, the sony 930 for now...until can afford av32r

You dont think the 1075 would be a mismatch with the TAG? Wouyldnt the 1095 be a better pairing, or is the 1075 that good?
the only difference between the 1075 and the 1095 is the output power. 1075 at 120w per channel, and the 1095 at 200w per channel.....oh, and the 1095 is a bit heavier...!!

I use the 985Mk2 which was the predecessor to the 1075 with my AV32R and it's excellent, it's not as good as the TAG or a Bryston or Parasound Amp but the difference between the TAG/Rotel and an integrated amp is significant. Still saving for the upgrade to the TAG 3x250R :)
I really do think the Rotels are exceptional performers for the cost and cannot see any competition untill you venture up to the £2K bracket.

I partnered the AV32R with a Primare amp, the A30.5, which came in around £1400-1500 (I can't quite remember). Although it only has the same power output as the 1075, I think it has more to offer sonically, IMO. Still, hope you manage to lay hands on that amp in Ireland! :)
Yeah but it costs £800-£900 more

I've been looking also, but Rotel make it pretty difficult. No UK specific web site and only the distributor's details on rotel.com not the dealer details.
