But what is the difference between the normal film and a theatrical cut? Am I right in thinking the theatrical cut is the movie with all the cuts added to it aswell?:(
found this
on the avforums - apparently the theatrical cut is on disk 1 of the extreme edition
Highlight "Sensory Control" and press right 5 times. "The Future is Not Set" will appear. Press Enter and you can play the Theatrical Version!

The theatrical cut is the shorter version of the movie. I think it was something like 132 mins vs 158 ish for the extended cut (I can't recall exactly), but the Extreme edition was primarily the extended cut with the theatrical as an easter egg - IF I remember rightly (I could be wrong - it's been a while!)

 why would you want to find the film with bits cut out as an easter egg? Seems to me you would want to watch the film with all the extended versions in it. I can but wonder :-)

Not all extended editions are worth watching - not by a LONG shot
T2 is one of the best tho :)

Agreed, its nice to have the choice of watching either the theatrical cut or the extended cut instead of being stuck with just one or the other.
