Channels gone from Freeview?

Hi all,

Not got freeview myself so I couldn't answer this but My mum just called to say they have lost a few of their freeview channels over the weekend.. ITV3 and Cbeebies being 2 of them. It's a 40" Sony LCD with built in freeview

Is this a common occurance? Can they do anything about it?

Cheers

Scott

Analogue broadcasts sometimes go down for maintenance so I suppose it's possible the local transmitter was being worked on.
Barring that a fresh channel rescan may pick up the broadcasts again, software bug perhaps

Same thing, Samsung LE32R51BD, can't pick up anything on Multiplex 2(itv channels and Channel 4, etc.) anybody got any ideas?

Been rescanning and rescanning, but just can't get them. My broadcasts come from Sandy Heath but can't find anything to suggest there would be any problems!

Help

Same thing here picking up signal from Crystal Palace in Hampshire. Lost most channels yesterday and poor signal on those remaining. Was previously getting near perfect on everything.

Can anyone shed any light, have only had freeview for a month, do I wait and see or switch to Sky???

I'm in Milton Keynes

And suddenly yesterday Picture Quality dropped dramatically to all TVs in house. Both analogue and diital signal affected. How do I tell which transmitter i'm receiving from?

This site is quite good, and shows a potential problem in East due to weather.

Work being done:
