New Squeezebox

Has anyone got or seen/used the new 3rd Gen Squeezebox by Slim devices

I'm looking at replacing a Netgear MP101 as I wanted something with a display visible from a greater distance and was planning on going with a Roku Soundbridge but looking at the new squeezebox it looks quite tidy for the price.

Also does anyone know if the SlimServer software is any good. If not will the Squeeze box work OK with my current Twonkyvision install?

I've got one and I'm very happy with it. Display is superb.

I don't have a problem with the Slimserver software - easy to set up and use, and the web interface is fine. AFAIK the squeezbox will only work with slimserver, unlike the Roku soundbridge, which doesn't have its own software.

Did you buy direct form Slimdevices or from a reseller in the UK?

A reseller - I think the name of the company is AudioFi (but I could be wrong), but they were a pleasure to deal with - the guy who runs it on here posts as Andrew1810 - might be worth dropping him a pm.
