I have found that my 735 will play Nashua CD-RW's when copied using Clone CD. This is the only brand I have found to work although most I have tried have been CDR's. Anyone had any other success?

In general, single-laser DVD players are much more likely to work with CDRWs than with CDRs. My old Pioneer 505 worked fine with every CDRW I put in it, and never worked at all on any CDR.

I haven't found a CDRW that hasn't worked.

Only Princo brand CDRs are a reliable CDR to use on the Sony.

Yes they may work with some Sony DVDs, but YOU CAN NOT RELY THAT THEY WILL WORK ON ALL SONY DVDs. :

So, are you saying that they are reliable or they aren't?

The work on the Sony x25 range and should work on the x35 range as there isnt that much difference between the models.

It's OK I've taken my tablets now,

I read a post here that by some muppet that said 'Princos would work on all Sony machines' they don't, they might on some they don't on all.

Buyer beware.

I also own the Sony 735 and would like to state that Princo discs as far as I'm concerned do not work on this player. I was chuffed to read that these discs worked so I ran out and bought a some. When I tried to play them I was gutted.
I have also tried a number of different CDRW brands on this player and none of them have yet to work.

Are you SURE that it is the CDs that the player won't read, and not the FORMAT of the DATA you are putting on there?

CDRWS and Princo CDRs should work on a x35 based machine.
