View Full Version : TomTom Go700 & Moto V3i compatability
Hi, I know the TT website lists the v3 as being compatible with the Go700, but can anyone confirm if the v3i is also compatible, I dont want to take a chance and buy the v3i and find out it doesnt work, as I know from experience that newer model upgrades dont always work..ie Samsung d500 works (partially), Samsung d600 will not work at all...
Cheers.

I have a tom tom 700 so have been looking into this, it will work but people do have issues getting it working. The main problem is that most new high spec phones like sony 750i have a new version of bluetooth version 2.0 I think where as the old T610 uses 1.1 and people can get that to work fine.

hope that helps
Thanks for the reply mate, i tried a v3i today instore with my Go700, and could not get it to work, kept coming up saying "could not find any bluetooth features" , I then tried a V3x, the 3g model, and it paired perfectly first time, allowing handsfree dialing, downloading contacts from phonebook, text msg receival & more. I had a bit of a deal instore, and ended up walking away with 2 of them for free, both with motorola BT headsets, and both with 512mb transflash cards..and £80 cashback in my hand..oh, and they had a "introduce a friend & get £10 each" deal going on..so I signed the other phone up in my wifes name, and they gave us a tenner each as well.. Cheap day out.. ;)
