R2 Hollowman wrecked my windvd

I was happily watching hollowman r2, I got it in the sales so hadn't watched it before. Got about 40 mins in and the film paused itself, on re starting it lost all sound. I exited Windvd and tried again and then just got stuttery sound and no picture.

Has anyone else had a problem with this disk?
