3806 Remote

Does anyone use this remote to control all their components? I've tried to get it to control my panny plasma and it doesn't do anything. It will control the dvd recorder and change channels on the freeview box but that's about it. I've tried both inputting codes from the instruction manual and the learning remote method of pointing your other remote at it.

I'm considering buying a Logitech Harmony 885 but want to know other peoples opinions first.

Same problem!!

NikB,

Will not control my Philips LCD either. Tried all the codes in the manual, but won'rt do it. Very annoying My Sky+ remote works it no problem. Even tried the 'learning' function, but still didn't work.

Apparently default TV operation is for Hitachi !!

It would be useful to know if anyone with 'any' make of TV has been able to get this to work.

Good luck, jonandjen

I've got my remote to work with my Pioneer 436, Sony DVD recorder and it works fine. Used the learn function on the telly.

I use the remote to control TV, VCR and DVD. Had to use a combination of the code and learning function to get everything I needed. Once you find a code that performs some of the functionality you need, simply use the learning function to add in the remaining functionality. I think it works great.
