Denon 3910 Firmware Update

Hi,

I have the Denon 3910 DVD player running in conjunction with a Yamaha V2600 receiver (which has HDMI switching/scaling). Unfortunately the two do not like each other and Yamaha inform me there is a known problem with the 2910/3910 players and that a firmware update fixes it.

Is there anyway I can get hold of this firmware update without taking it to the store I brought it from (I brought it months ago up in Scotland) whereas I am now in Southampton?

Can anyone advise on the Firmware update I am after (and the way to check what version I have now)?

You may want to check the MR hack thread, as I currently host the latest MR Firmware for the 3910.

Many thanks for the link and for hosting the firmware Updated the firmware using the DenonMR.zip file and it's now working perfectly with my V2600 via HDMI

For the benefit of anyone else having problems with their Denon 3910 and Yamaha V2600 I have posted a quick summary of the proceedure in this thread.
