Question The Linn DLP projector

Does anyone have any more details on this please?

Nic,

I'll look in to this for you. I wouldn't hold your breath for anything amazing though. I would expect a re-badge, a la Runco...There were rumours of ASK type clones..We'll see.

I thionk the Linn DLP appeard in a copy of HCC a few months back. It's not under Linn's badge and is being imported by the Loewe section of Linn. There are 2 DLP's, they were on a fixed in card flyer thingy around October time I think.

One is 800x600 and the other is 1024x768.

My understanding is that Linn have developed something themselves and it is in advanced state of development.

However caution has taught me it more likely to be like the Runco. Lets hope it is as good as some of their other kit.

Yamaha have also developed their own DLP, its called a Plus

Seriously with Loewe we should be able to expect a little bit more than a simple rebadge, but if its the old SVGA and XGA DLP chips I wouldn't expect miracles.
