I have a Grandstream 488, which I was hoping to use with my fax machine, to allow it to connect to both VoIP and landline. I'm still trying to get it to work properly. I'm not impressed with Grandstream products or their support. If you want a good VoIP box, take a look at the Linksys PAP-2 box.
P.S. I don't think you can use hardware boxes like the Grandstream with Skype - you can use Sipgate, though.
