Play with tv-out settings on Mac?

I have the Samsung SP50L6H6 TV and have read the "1:1 pixel posts" on the forum but they don't really comply since I run a Mac (Powerbook G4) using DVi out into my HDMI on the Samsung.

(As usual with Mac), I just connect the cable and like magic, I have a tv-out profile named Samsung and it all works fine....except the TV scales the picture. I choose 720p res. on the Mac by default but the TV displays about 80 percent of the screen...it's the same using PAL or NTSC output.

So, my question is: Does anyone know any Mac programs where you can play around with the vertical freq. or perhaps other stuff to try?
