Suitable sub for hi-fi

I am looking to buy a pair of glass Celestion AVF302,S but when demonstrated they lacked bass. I could use a sub with them but don,t know what to start looking for. I know I need a sub with high level inputs (speaker connections on the back). I am running NAIM amps so would love a damn good sub but can only afford a budget model at the mo to tide me over so am looking at ebay, forums etc. Approx £150-£200 to spend. Any help please?
