TAG AV 32R & Bryston 9BST, whats the connection?

After numerous demos of various power amps to go with my TAG I have decided to go for the Bryston 9BST.
This amp is definately the dogs wotsnots!
Anyway what I want to know is what sort of interconnects are other TAG AV32R owners using to connect to their power amp?
Also what were the reasons for choosing the interconnects, i.e. price, sound quality, a combo of the two or other factors?
As usual all constructive comments welcomed!

Once upon a time when i owned the TAG processor&amp .... i used to use TAG cables... i didint notice major differences.
But to a perfectionist with suitable room acoustics I'm sure there are!

Where ever you're buying the TAG \ Bryston from..they should
lend u some cables to try out. Otherwise take your money elsewhere. The mainstrem stores are good this way : Sevenoaks, Audio-T

I demo'ed :
QED silver spiral,Sonic Link AST200,VanDenHul Teat Track,

I've finally settled with :

Vandenhul Source Hybrid digital cable
Nordost Solar Wind bi-wire speaker cable (lick shot speaker cable!)
Chord Cameleon 2 interconnect

The rest of the video leads are Ixos

If i was starting from scratch I'd start from :

Ecosse Reference Cables

And QED, IXOS, NORDOST

don't spend too much and don't be stingy!

Shaz

oh i forgot to say... fine choice of power amp!
plenty of power and grace.

the alternative would have been : ROTEL RMB 1075

Thanks for your suggestions Shaz.
Out of interest, what set up do you have now since you got rid of the TAG?

Shaz,
I saw your other post & I agree that an all TAG set up does sound bass light with music. With the Bryston & my Krell CD its a different story, power, depth & poise!!
BTW Im in Essex too!
Try Audio - T in Brentwood if youre near there.

I have TAG AV32R EX with Rotel amps and REL Strata III subs, and I donīt think there is anything wrong with the bass, are you sure you heard it setup right ?

I have monitor speakers, Sonus Faber Electra Amator II...

Cables:

Digital - Siltech
Interconnects - Deltec Black Slink
Speakers - Deltec Black Sixteen

Lowrider,
I dont think youve read the posts properly! The comment about being bass light was in reference to an ALL TAG set up. You have a Rotel amp, and therefore do not have an ALL TAG set up!
Thanks for the interconnect info.

av32r to 100x5r.....5 x chord chorus
dvd32r to av32r.....nordost silver shadow
av32r to display device.....nordost optix component video and s video cables
100x5r to kef model 2........chord odyssey 4

could send more/less but i'm happy enough and don't intend to upgrade my cables for awhile

Sorry Geeza,

I never tried the TAG amp, so I wouldnīt know, it is a bit of a surprise, though...

I tried many cables, not the TAGīs, I also liked Ecosse Composer interconnects and Audioquest VSB-1 digital, quite cheaper then my final choice... But didnīt like any other speaker cables I tried...
