Help Firmware version of Denon 3910

After a recent post I aksed my local dealer to upgrade the firmware of my 3910, they got in touch with Denon and got a copy of the firmware sent to them, which they then applied to my player.

The only thing is I now can't get the player to display its firmware version, I have tried several times with the method that worked before the upgrade (power on with play and open held down remote codes etc) but to no avail.

Has anyone come across this or can shed any light on the problem?

Thanks

Lakes Puma,
I recently got a new DVD 3910. It was R2 out of the box. My dealer tried to get a multi region disc but was told that there is a 'button pushing' multi region hack on the 3910 as Denon were sick and tired of having to produce discs for dealers.. Sure enough the hack works fine and will play anything. Problem is, like your player, the menus are very slow to navigate and I am sure the picture quality on my old 3800 was slightly better. I too, cannot get to view the firmware version. I just received the update discs from Keyser but don't know if I dare try to use them.
