Proline 1100 Hack

My dad has one of these, bought him a R1 disc but he can't play it...

Found a hack about opening tray, then pressing 0,1,2,3 to make it multiregion, but no good. Anyone have any other ideas?

Try This

Region code hack posted by erg, June 08 2005:

To convert this player to Multi-Region place the disc you want to play in the tray but don't close it. Press the buttons 0,1,2 and 3 on your remote control in order, one at a time, then press the play button on either your remote control or the player.

Happy Hacking

As already stated, that hack doesn't work on the 1100... anyone else?

In the hack you stated that the hack did not work
This hack is common for this model and normally works
But the hack that you listed did not say to press play
I thought you may have missed it

Here is another slightly different version of the same hack
But the basics are the same and they are all supposed to work.

Region 1 mode:
1. Open the player disc tray.
2. Press 0, 1, 2, 3 on the remote control.
3. Put a region 1 disc in the tray.
4. Press PLAY.

Return to region 2 mode:

1. Open the player disc tray.
2. Press ENTER then PLAY on the remote control.
3. Put a region 2 disc in the tray.
4. Press PLAY.

Only trying to help..that is what the forum is about
