Panasonic s-35 problem

Hello, my son has just bought my daughter a region 1 boxset for Christmas, my Panny is region 2 ,is there anyway to fix this problem with the remote?

I'm pretty sure that this player needs to be chipped, or unlocked by a special remote control. You might try posting in the 'DVD Player Handset Hacks' section of the forum, someone there might be better able to help, see link below:
