How long until I can turn it up?

How long should I run a new sub before I can turn it up loud? Its a PV1 BTW and daren't go above -15 on the denon 2805 with the sub on 4/10 volume, although I've done very short bursts at -5 at 4/10ths volume with music with deep bass. The cones were moving alot.

Thanks: Gave 21, Got 27
I ran my quake and M1s in on -40 for first day, then left them on all day on lower volumes enuff to keep them moving, I did increased volume upto -30 over next 2 days. All in all I thin I gave them a good 80hours before going beyond -30.

Not sure if this is right but i noticed a diff over the few days, I didnt run teat tones at all untill after the 80 hours though.
