Denon 1920 - Will It Only Upscale In HDMI?

Hi all,
hopefully going to buy the Denon DVD-1920 tomorrow but have a question regarding the upscaling. I want to connect via component but I have read that it will only upscale (720p/1080i) via HDMI and not component.

Can anyone confirm this please?

I have HDMI on my LCD TV but want to keep it free for when Telewest launch their HD TV Drive early next year (unless I can connect the HD TV Drive via component instead and still get HD images).

Many thanks

Buy yourself a HDMI switcher or an AV reciver with HDMI switching.
