SnowFox XT105 - A bargain, perhaps?

Okay, it's unlikely that this little SD card player will be anything outstanding at just £24, but it might make a nice alternative to a fixed, 1GB flash player. Especially as you'll get 8hrs from a single AAA battery.

Yes, it's USB 1.1, but that's not a pain if you're not in a hurry. No special features, though it does have a screen and looks pretty portable.

I got one just before Christmas and use it with a Kingston
512M SD card. It has a good sound - you may want to swap out the supplied headphones though although they are by no means the worst I've heard.

It is also available at Ebuyer, Big Pockets and Whitedog for around £15.00.
