Best pair of cheap earbuds

What is the best pair of earbuds I can get for less than $50.

Sorry that it isn't in sterling, but my internet connection is terrible and I'm lucky to get anywhere at all.

I've heard good things about the Sharp S33's.

Mixed things about Koss and Sony Fontopia.

Any suggestions?

buds

Iv'e got the sony EX71 's . paid about £ 30 at dixons . they are fabbo . super bass and crystal clear right through to top end . I don't think i could do much better for the price . I also seem to think thy have been improved recently and called EX72's or something .got em a year ago . Best thing about them isn't much to do with sound quality at all . As they fit tight in the ear they are brilliant at excluding external noise and make plane flights etc. a joy .

I'd also put a recommendation in for these, I like them a lot.

The only problem is that they are incredibly fragile so hang on to your sales receipt. I'm on my second pair and the wire is beginning to wear thin on it too.

try out Panasonic RP-HJE50, Quite a number of people recommended it in head-fi.org and in hardwarezone.com

but just to let you know, it wont be as bassy as sony. and the highs can be a lil bit harsh initially..but driving it seems to solve that prob

Take a look here http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page...21&g=409&pa=sr - at £14.99 delivered they take a bit of beating.

Cheers,

Martin.
