Dark Side of the Moon on HDCD, I beg your pardon WHAT?

Hi! Has anyone heard about an HDCD release of
the Dark Side of the Moon? I've come across
a used copy for $50 in a store.
It was from Asia (Japan? Korea?..)
"HDCD" was printed on the packaging and inside on the disc.
Was it fake? I am confused.

I mistakenly bought a supposed "HDCD" on Ebay a few years ago and it didn't play right - I can't remember exactly what was wrong

Needless to say I think they're a bit dodgy! Probably made in the far-east at a cut-down price and sold on to gullable westerners (such as myself)

Thanks, it was NOT this CD release. I've got the bar code
written down somewhere. It had a mispelling on the CD itself:
manifactured ("i" instead "u"). I'll check it out.

See you on the GOLD or SACD Side of the Moon
and NOT on the HDCD one which does NOT exist!

I bought one of the China release HDCD of The Wall just for comparison - it came with 2 sec breaks in between songs *grrr*

Hi! Here is the barcode of this SUPPOSEDLY HDCD release
of "The Wall Live" by Universal Music, ... Japan:
6 900558 193008. I think that an HDCD release does NOT
exist at all and this one is FAKE!
