Just fitted a sony cdx s2000c in to Citoen Berlingo van, it was working fine and i even managed to preset all the stations and fix the clock to the right time. The problem was when i turned the ignition off and back on and everything i had setup had disappeared. I would love somebody to tell me how to resolve this problem? Please help me!!!

There are two 12v supplies to a radio, one is "switched" the other is a permanent live (normally yellow and red wires). Either you have not connected the permanent live or the two wires are round the wrong way. Whichever, the radio will act as you descibe.

Good luck

Yep, 6 & 7 need to be connected to the yellow and red wires from the new stereo. Sorry, I can't remember which way round they should go but if they're already connected, switch them round the other way! There is no risk of damage so don't worry. The other thing to check is that the in-line fuses are both ok. The new stereo may have one in each of these wires so better check them.
